Fall in the Pool Saturday and 1016 Route 601 Skillman, NJ 08558 The Somerset Valley YMCA Fall in the Pool swim meet is sponsored by the SVY Swim Team, and is conducted according to NJ YMCA rules. Facility: The pool is a 25 yard, 6-lane pool. The pool uses pedestal-style starting blocks, non-turbulent lane lines, touch pads and a Colorado Timing system. The gym will be available for swimmers to stay between events and to store their bags and equipment. Lawn chairs are permitted in gymnasium. Meet Date: Saturday and Meet Director: Luke Dubiel, 609-203-3525, meetdirector@svynj.org Awards: Awards will be given for 1st thru 3rd for each individual event. Awards will be given to respective coaches at the end of the meet. Awards will not be mailed. Programs: Programs will be available for $3.00. Spectators: Admission: $3.00. Bleacher seating is available in the pool. Parents and swimmers are invited to sit in the gym between events, please bring lawn chairs and blankets for the gym. No spectators will be allowed on deck. Deck will be limited to swimmers, coaches, timers and officials. Meet Eligibility: Age on Meet Schedule: Session 1: Saturday, October 13, Distance Events (11 -12) Warm-up at Session 2: Saturday, October 13, Distance Events (13 & Over) Warm-up at Distance Events will be swum fastest to slowest Session 3: Sunday, October 14, 9-10, 11-12 Events Warm-up at Session 4: Sunday, October 14, 8 & Under, 13-14, 15 & Over Warm-up at *** All session times are subject to change. 8 & unders may be run as a separate session based on entries. All teams will be informed of any changes at least 5 days prior to the meet. In addition, all changes will be posted on our website at www.svynj.org. Entries: Swimmers are limited to 2 individual events on Saturday, and 3 individual events and one relay on Sunday. Team entries may be submitted by e-mail to: meetentries@svynj.org. This is the preferred method of entry. All entries must be Hy-Tek entries on a 3-1/2” diskette or as an attached file to e-mail. ENTRY TIMES MUST BE IN YARDS. Please use an estimated time rather than an NT so that we can time out the meet! Athlete rosters as an attached file are requested. Entry Fees: $3.00 per individual event. $12.00 per relay. ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO SPLASH. Make checks payable to SVYMCA. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt. Entry Deadline: All entries must be received by Wednesday, October 3, 2007.
