2006 Championship Meet Summary

Championship meets are held for both YMCA and USA. They are broken down by qualifying time (or time standards) so that swimmers with similar abilities compete together. The qualifying times used for YMCA are different than the qualifying times used for USA. The dates to determine your age for the meet are also different.

·        YMCA uses an age-up date as of Dec 1, 2005 and

·        USA meets use an age-up date as of the first day of the meet.

All swimmers are required to attend the championship meets.  These are team meets and every point counts!  Eligibility reports will be posted so you can indicate your event preference but entries are decided by the coaching staff.

Here’s a summary of the upcoming YMCA and USA championship meets for 2006.  For more information, see the Meet Manual.
