SITE:                      Seton Hall University’s 8 lane, 25-yard pool, equipped with a Colorado Timing System.

 

MEET

WARM-UPS:       Warm-ups will be run in accordance with the New Jersey Swimming Warm-up and Safety Guidelines.  Warm-up

assignments will be e-mail to participating clubs.  Warm-ups will include general warm-up, pace lanes, and

sprint lanes.

 

SCHEDULE:

      

Saturday, February 26th, 2005

Building will Open @ 7:15 a.m.

 

Session 1

8 & UNDER GIRLS

Warm-up: 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Meet Starts: 8:35 a.m.

Session 2

8 & UNDER BOYS

Warm-up: 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Meet Starts: 2:05 p.m.

 

 

ENTRIES:             Swimmers are permitted to enter 5 events, with a maximum of 4 being individual events . 

 

ELIGIBILITY:      All swimmers must be registered USA Swimming registered for 2005. USA Swimming requires athletes who have transferred clubs to swim for 120 days from their last registered competition as unattached.

 

ENTRY FEES:      The fees are $4.00 per individual entry and $8.00 per relay entry.

                           

AWARDS:            MEDALS will be awarded to the top 8 individuals in each event.

 

ADMISSION:       Admission will be $6.00 for an all-day pass.

 

PROGRAMS:      The Meet Program will be available at a cost of $6.00. 

 

TIMING:                Participating clubs will be required to help provide timers.

 

OFFICIALS:         Any of your club’s officials that can help with officiating should contact John Ciulla at 973-822-1437.  Their

assistance will be greatly appreciated.  Please list a contact person for officials on your meet summary.

 

VENDOR:           Swimskin will be selling merchandise on Saturday and Sunday.

 

DIRECTIONS:  From the Garden State Parkway North or South take exit 145 to Rt. 280 West to the Day St. exit.  Come

                              Up the ramp and go through the 1st light and the make 2 consecutive lefts and then the 1st right, Center St.

                                Proceed straight for approximately 1.8 miles.  This will bring you to South Orange Avenue.  Proceed

                                directly across to the main gate of the University.  The 1st large building on the left is the Recreation

                                Center.  Park in the vicinity and enter the building from the front.
