Gingerbread Man Mini-Meet X

November 7, 2004

 

Time:               Building opens at 6:30 AM.

Warm-up 7:00 - 8:00 AM.  Meet starts at 8:00 AM.

 

Facility:            Habernickel Pool is a six-lane 25-yard pool with Kiefer non-turbulent lane dividers and Paragon starting blocks.  There is limited seating in Habernickel and swimmers will stay in the gym between events.  Each team will be responsible for chaperoning their swimmers while they are in the gym.  Also, the gym will be cleared of swimmers and parents no later than 11:45 AM to allow other YMCA programs to use the gym.  Grannon Pool will be closed throughout the warm-up and meet.

 

Eligibility:        A swimmer’s age is determined as of November 7, 2004.  A swimmer may enter a maximum of three (3) individual events for the entire meet.  All swimmers must be members of USA Swimming before entering this meet.

 

Entries:            All entries must have a seed time for the entry to be accepted, any entries with NT for a time will be rejected.

The meet management reserves the right to limit this meet to four hours of competition. 

 

Warm-ups:       Warm-up will be split by team and announced by email on Monday November 1,2004

 

Check-in:         There is no check-in required, as this meet is pre-seeded.

 

Entry Fees:      $3.00 per individual event. Make all checks payable to Ridgewood YMCA Swim Team. 

 

Rules:              This meet will be conducted under 2004 USA Swimming Rules and the rules of New Jersey Swimming.

 

Awards:            The top three finishers will receive custom awards and swimmers finishing in fourth through eighth place shall receive custom ribbon style awards.

 

Concession:      There will be a concession selling nutritious food throughout the meet.  Swim accessories will also be available at the meet.

 

Timers:            Each team with five or more swimmers may need to provide one timer for the duration of the meet, per NJ Swimming Rules.  Please bring your own watch and report to the scoring table at 7:45 AM to permit the meet to start on time.  Timing assignments will be sent to each participating teams by email and posted at www.ridgewoodymca.org/breakers.

 

Admission:       $2.00 per adult (children 12&Under free), $3.00 per program

 

Results:           Meet results will be sent to participating teams by email.

 

Officials who will be attending this meet are encouraged to contact Ed Miller at

Directions: Take the Garden State Parkway north to exit 163 then take Rt. 17 North to the Linwood Ave./Ridgewood exit.  Continue over Rt. 17 on Linwood Ave. to the end.  At the flashing light turn left, the YMCA will be a block and a half on the right.  Turn right into the parking lot.
