Note to all parents/swimmers;

Please note that most of our sessions are very full. We expect that the pool area will be very crowded. RVCC will not allow use of the gym for marshalling or  overflow. As a result the only areas we can use are the pool area itself and the hallways. In regards to the pool area, we are going to attempt to keep all swimmers and coaches on one side of the facility, and all spectators on the other. PLEASE know that since the seating is limited and will be very crowded, NO chairs, coolers are large bags will be allowed in the seating area.  Also, there will be no saving of seats allowed.

Coaches and parents should let the swimmers know that there are large locker rooms located under the seating areas. These locker rooms can be accessed down the stairs located near the starting end of the pool. We strongly encourage swimmers to use these locker rooms to keep the seating area as open as possible. Please know that if you use the locker rooms, SVY is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. Swimmers should provide their own locks.

Ultimate Swim Shop will be onsite with typical swimming wares. In addition we will have concessions available throughout the weekend. Please note, however that they will be closing at some point during the final session on Sunday night.

KidsInMotion will also be onsite if you would like to get a photo if your swimmers in action. These make great gifts for your swimmers, grandparents, friends and families, There is a cost for this service, to be handled directly by the vendor.

This year we will also be collecting food for local food banks. Suggested non perishable item include canned soups, stews, tuna and meats, Peanut butter and jelly, Boxed cereals, pasta, rice, macaroni & cheese, crackers, condiments and powdered milk. This is an easy way for all of us to help those less fortunate than ourselves!

We will be moving large amounts of people through a limited space, especially in between sessions. To that point we ask for your patience and cooperation in clearing the facility quickly and efficiently between sessions.

Lastly, Warm Up Schedules and Timing assignments have been posted on both the NJ Swimming and SVY Web sites. It is imperative that if assigned, your club provide timers during the sessions listed. These timers need to be available at some point during the warm up for their specific session. This information can be found at www.SVYNJ.org Just click the link for “New Year's Splash” on the lleft side of the page for this information.

Looking forward to a great weekend!
